The DSHA Parent eNews is a twice monthly email communication sent to all current parents. It contains important dates, information, and other updates from all areas of the school — from academics to Campus Ministry, to Student Services and special events, and more.

This is a useful tool for current parents to stay informed about the details that make up their daughter's DSHA experience.

Uniforms

All DSHA students are required to abide by uniform regulations. Lands’ End is our exclusive vendor. All items must be clean, in good repair, and of appropriate length and fit. Uniform pieces may not be creatively altered in any way; this includes the skirt, pants, shorts, and shirts.

    College Decision Day


    College Decision Day on Thursday, May 1 | Senior parents, your daughters are about six weeks away from graduating and will soon join a community of over 15,000 women – the DSHA alumnae family. College Decision Day is a long-standing tradition where graduating seniors don their college gear to represent where they will be attending next fall. This event will run from 9:05 a.m. - 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 1. The celebration begins in the DSHA Commons where both the Student Services and Advancement Departments will collect vital information from the senior class. Afterward, seniors will be invited outside to celebrate with sweet treats, music, photo opportunities, and more! The DSHA Decision Day Celebration will stay on May 1 due to scheduling conflicts with AP testing, final exams, and printed graduation material. Questions about Decision Day?     Graduation takes place on Friday afternoon, May 23, 2025 at the Marcus Performing Arts Center. While the ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m., graduating seniors need to arrive by 4:30 p.m. for their class picture. Each family will receive 10 tickets for Graduation. More information regarding ticketing procedures and requesting additional tickets will come in early April.
