Footloose Auditions

Audition times:

Rising grades 9-12: Tuesday, June 2, 4-7 p.m.
Rising grades 5-8: Wednesday, June 3, 4-7 p.m.
Adults: Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3, 7-8 p.m.
Callbacks for all: Thursday, June 4, 5-7 p.m.; callbacks will be posted on this page when auditions are complete

Students in rising grades 5-8: should be ready for the following:

Prepare one song from the audition songs provided below
Prepare selections from the audition sides
Wear appropriate clothing and shoes to learn and perform a dance audition
Stay for the duration of the auditions
Be ready to be measured for costumes, play improv games, and get to know their castmates

Adults should be ready for the following:

About Community Theatre Works

DSHA invites students (girls and boys!) in rising grades 5-12 as well as adults to sing, dance, and shine in Community Theatre Works production of Footloose.

Designed for students who love the stage—or want to try it for the first time—this exciting camp offers a supportive environment where creativity, confidence, and community come together.

What to Expect

Musical theatre training in acting, singing, and dance
Professional instruction from experienced theatre educators
Fun and full production with costumes, choreography, and live instrumentation

Additional Information

Girls and boys in rising grades 5-12 are welcome to participate! All who audition will receive a part in the show.
Adults, including the class of 2026, are encouraged to audition.
Registration and an online application are required to audition. Students in grades 5-12 must register via Summer Cool.

June 2, 4-7 p.m.: Grades 9-12

June 2-3, 7-8 p.m.: Adults
