  • 3D Art

    Paper Mache, plaster, cardboard and air dry clay, supplies we can use to create 3D works of art. Come along to build animals, creatures, candy bags and fairy houses. Be prepared to get messy!

    We can take a “road trip” around the USA for a week of fun with our fifty nifty United States! Let’s learn about our home state and the others. We can talk about why states are shaped the way they are, sample some special foods, and more!

  • Around the World in 5 Days

    Where can a map take you? Everywhere! We’ll start with our own map to pinpoint and travel across the entire world. Find out about life and culture in places in the North, East, South, and West! We’ll map it old school and new school with both foldout maps and technology such as Google Earth. Take a trek around the world with latitude and longitude. We’ll encounter new people, places, and food along the way!

  • Astronomy is out of This World

    Rocket into space! Come along on a cosmic journey to learn about the planets and stars. Learn about the day in the life of someone who works at NASA. After you learn about space you will be introduced to women who have contributed to the history of space exploration.

    Sewing, tie dye and fabric markers, oh my! Each day, you’ll design and decorate a piece of clothing, blanket or other project of your choice. Learn a few basic stitches and fabric collage techniques. We will also touch on embroidery!

    Each day we’ll read and discuss a new fairy tale. Then we’ll take on a series of activities including themed scavenger hunts and art projects that will create a magical week for you.     Do you like creating different fictional creatures? Monsters Galore uses your imagination to create 2D and 3D pieces of art all based around monsters and fictional creatures. We will also read books based around monsters too.

    Get ready for a summer of exploration, fun, and adventure! Nature Adventure Camp is designed for young explorers who are eager to discover the wonders of the outdoors. Throughout the week, campers will embark on exciting nature walks, engage in hands-on activities, and learn about the plants, animals, and ecosystems that surround us. Campers will engage in outdoor nature walks, creative crafts and environmental awareness that will open their eyes to our beautiful world and all its parts.

  • Number Ninjas

    Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey where numbers, shapes, and puzzles come to life? During Number Ninjas kids in grades 1-3 will dive into a world of exciting math challenges that make learning fun and adventurous! We will explore all things mathematical, such as adding and subtracting, time, fractions, shapes and word problems through engaging activities and problem solving fun. Let’s make math your child’s most exciting part of the day!

  • Outdoor Fun

    Scavenger hunts, huge games of tag, parachutes,  kickball and more. Join us for some good ol’ outdoor fun while making new friends and soaking up some vitamin D. If the Wisconsin weather doesn’t want to be our friend, no worries, we take the fun inside to our wonderful gym to play and explore. This camp is designed to strengthen the body while empowering the brain!

  • Pets and Their Care

    We LOVE our pets! Here’s a camp where you can learn about furry and feathered friends. Whether you have a pet or wish you did, learn about the health benefits of having an animal in your life, why breeds look and behave so differently, and how to keep animal friends happy and healthy. Campers will even create pet items to share, like food dishes and collars, with their furry friends.

    Get ready to unlock the magic of reading and rocket into confident, skilled reading!     The rainbows of broken colors and shapes in bright, beautiful stained glass are like puzzles of light. With easy and safe techniques, girls can bring that beauty home as they create their own mini masterpieces.     Unleash your creativity and embark on a magical adventure this summer at the Story Builders! This camp is designed for young writers in grades 1-3 who are eager to explore the world of fiction, create their own stories, and bring them to life with stunning illustrations.Throughout the week, campers will discover the magic of storytelling as they learn to craft characters, build exciting plots, and invent fantastical worlds.     Join us for a tour of DSHA and a workshop to learn more about the DSHA admissions application! Hear from the admissions team for a one-session deep dive into everything you need to complete the process.     Come learn the basics of first aid. Simple emergency procedures will be covered. We’ll talk about recognizing emergency situations and how to get help. We’ll also assemble a home first aid kit and put together a safety plan to complete with your family. You will not receive a formal certification, but you will gain important skills.

    Come learn about the exciting world of coding and robotics! The field of robotics is full of unique challenges, critical thinking, and creativity. During the week, campers will work with members of the Hilltopper Robotics FRC Team 1732, our cooperative team composed of Divine Savior Holy Angels and Marquette University High School students which has competed multiple times in the FRC World Championships. Through a variety of hands-on activities, campers will build and program a robot to perform fun and friendly challenges while learning the basics of mechanics, electronics, and coding.

    Get a sneak peek of one of the most popular music classes at DSHA! Join DSHA Director of Instrumental Music Mark Eagon in this introduction to the beautiful art of handbell ringing.   • Harry Potter

    What if you were accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?     Summer is a time to take a break from the stress and busyness of school and after-school activities. Learn some concrete strategies for relieving stress, staying calm, and working collaboratively. We’ll experience different calming techniques including some yoga practices.   • Mock Trial

    Students will learn law, debate, and public speaking as they prepare for and participate in a simulated trial experience. Students will work in teams while tackling legal issues, engaging in legal analysis, and learning about different roles and responsibilities in the courtroom. The camp is a fun way to develop critical thinking and oral advocacy skills. If you participated in this camp in the past, feel free to return—the fact pattern will be different, so you can put past years’ skills to work!

    Explore the world of Romans and royalty through the use of hands-on activities and with the assistance of current DSHA Latin students. From movement to making healthy after-school snacks, to reflection and meditation, these activities will encourage healthy habits for a successful school year and care for yourself during times of high stress.

  • Camp Dasher

    Rev up for the new school year! Spend four glorious days at DSHA in this fantastic introduction to your first year. You'll explore the school, make new friends, meet upperclasswomen and staff, and discover ways to make the most of your four years as a Dasher. Daily activities will include team building, games, and skill building for high school.

  • Girls and Robotics | Gr. 7 - 9

    Come learn about the exciting world of coding and robotics! The field of robotics is full of unique challenges, critical thinking, and creativity. During the week, campers will work with members of the Hilltopper Robotics FRC Team 1732, our cooperative team composed of Divine Savior Holy Angels and Marquette University High School students which has competed multiple times in the FRC World Championships. Through a variety of hands-on activities, campers will build and program a robot to perform fun and friendly challenges while learning the basics of mechanics, electronics, and coding.

Community Theatre Works

DSHA's Community Theatre Works program (CTW) is an intensive, four-week summer rehearsal process that combines the talents of DSHA students and alumnae, middle school students, and community members.

Students in grades 5-12 work in tandem with local talent in a caring theatre environment that fosters mentoring, teaching, learning, and growing to produce a summer musical. 

Students will experience all aspects of the production from auditions to rehearsals to full performances before eager audiences. Campers will even have exposure to the behind-the-scenes work of creating a set from scratch and how to collaborate with stage crew.
