Create and act out your very own play. We will learn the skills that go into developing and creating a play, practice acting skills, and teamwork. In groups, you will brainstorm, write, direct, and perform your very own show to be presented at the end of the week!

We’ll look at how cookbooks are arranged, written, and presented and then we’ll make our own. At the end of the week, we’ll celebrate with snacks we’ve invented!

Whether you’re preparing for a future forensics season or looking to build self-confidence and poise, this camp will help you practice and hone your skills while being in a supportive environment. Campers will focus on voice and breath control, vocal warm-ups, improv, and teamwork. Get excited to speak up!
Where can a map take you? Everywhere! We’ll start with our own map to pinpoint and travel across the ocean and back again. Find out about life and culture in places north, south, east, and west. We’ll map it old school and new school with both foldout maps and technology such as Google Earth. Take a trek around the world with latitude and longitude. We’ll encounter new people and places along the way!

Service is such an important aspect of being a Dasher! Come and participate in some of the same service projects DSHA students do during the school year — and learn what it takes to create your own service project. Each day we will work together to contribute to a service project grounded in our sponsoring order’s Salvatorian mission of sharing the goodness and kindness of Jesus Christ.

Come learn about the exciting world of coding and robotics! The field of robotics is full of unique challenges, critical thinking, and creativity. During the week, campers will work with members of the Hilltopper Robotics FRC Team 1732, our cooperative team composed of Divine Savior Holy Angels and Marquette University High School students which has competed multiple times in the FRC World Championships. Through a variety of hands-on activities, campers will build and program a robot to perform fun and friendly challenges while learning the basics of mechanics, electronics, and coding.
Get a sneak peek of one of the most popular music classes at DSHA! Join DSHA Director of Instrumental Music Mark Eagon in this introduction to the beautiful art of handbell ringing. Campers will create a chorus of sound while learning about the place of handbell ringing in both music and worship arts. It’s a great opportunity to activate the creative side of the brain. Come learn the fastest growing sport in Wisconsin! DSHA coaches will provide you with basic instruction in the fundamentals of the game, as well as offensive and defensive strategies.

Summer is a time to take a break from the stress and busyness of school and after-school activities. Learn some concrete strategies for relieving stress, staying calm, and working collaboratively. We’ll experience different calming techniques including some yoga practices. Campers will walk away from this week feeling refreshed and energized and with some tips on how to stay that way through the school year!
Students will learn law, debate, and public speaking as they prepare for and participate in a simulated trial experience. Students will work in teams while tackling legal issues, engaging in legal analysis, and learning about different roles and responsibilities in the courtroom. The camp is a fun way to develop critical thinking and oral advocacy skills. If you participated in this camp in the past, feel free to return—the fact pattern will be different, so you can put past years’ skills to work!
Campers learn to write, direct, and edit their own short movie in a fun educational atmosphere. Learn the elements of storytelling, editing, and special effects. Turn your summer memories into your own motion picture!

How hard is it to find a needle in a haystack? Can water dripping on your forehead really drive you nuts? Based on the TV show of the same name, this camp will allow you to be the scientist. You'll put myths and urban legends to the test to find out which are true, and which are not.

National and State Championship winning DSHA Head Rugby Coach John Klein will provide you with basic instruction on the fundamentals of this game that is fast-growing in popularity. Sessions will focus on individual and positional skills, as well as team skills and concepts.
How do milk, sugar, and salt turn into ice cream? What does gluten do to bread? How does milkfat affect the taste of cheese? Explore the science behind these and other popular foods through hands-on experiments. After a week of measuring, cooking, and testing, you will leave with delicious recipes, mental math tricks, and plenty of fun food facts to feed your family and friends!
Service is such an important aspect of being a Dasher! Come and participate in some of the same service projects DSHA students do during the school year — and learn what it takes to create your own service project. Each day we will work together to contribute to a service project grounded in our sponsoring order’s Salvatorian mission of sharing the goodness and kindness of Jesus Christ.
DSHA Head Soccer Coach Kevin Roethe will provide five days of intense and fun-filled soccer training. You will have the opportunity to improve technical ability to achieve tactical success. The sessions will include technical training in individual skill work, tactical training in offensive and defensive skills, and daily games.
DSHA Head Softball Coach Tom Montgomery will provide you with instruction in the fundamentals of fielding, throwing, and hitting. The sessions will focus on building the proper fundamentals needed to be a successful high school softball player.
For players who have not advanced to the U12 age group, or with limited softball playing experience. This session will help players learn the game from the ground up. Great for players at the U8 or U10 levels or who are new to the game of softball.

A sweet twist on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Spend the week completing STEAM candy-themed activities and experiments. From constructing candy cars and boats to creating your own candy maze, you will collaborate with your fellow scientists and dig deep into understanding STEM concepts with art. Get ready for your sweetest summer camp yet!

The art of writing is fun and easy to learn. Campers will start with the basics of artful lettering, and learn to create writing masterpieces. From stories to poems, learn all the basics and tools you’ll need to write anything you want in a creative way!

This one-week vocal music camp will help you get to know your voice better. You will learn solo songs as well as group numbers. You will also improve your ear by singing in harmony with other campers. Finally, get more comfortable performing by participating at the end of the week for friends and family.

DSHA Head Volleyball Coach Caitie O’Brien Ratkowski, DSHA ’02, will provide instruction for those who want to improve the basic skills necessary to play competitive volleyball. A progression of all skills will be taught, along with some position-specific drills for those skills. Camp will include a combination of drills, fun, and games to put those skills to work, ending the week with competitive play. This five-day camp will provide a lot of learning and tons of fun. Come get ready for your upcoming season with one of the best high school coaches in the area!

Everyone needs to relax once in a while but taking a vacation every time you are stressed isn’t very realistic! Let’s encourage healthy habits and activities in a tech-free way. Each day will focus on activities that will help you unplug and recharge yourself with healthy and fun techniques. From activities of movement, to making healthy after-school snacks, to reflection and meditation, these activities will encourage healthy habits for a successful school year and care for yourself during times of high stress.
Great theatre begins with the story. This camp is for girls interested in theatre or writing in general. We will read excerpts from different play genres, watch parts of successful productions, and write your own short plays. You’ll learn how play scripts are written and how they are different from regular storytelling. You’ll have the chance to give and receive feedback and hear what your own play sounds like out loud!
Learn the basics of yoga while you listen to worship music and scripture verses through your poses. Each day will be based on a scriptural theme and incorporate small group prayer and sharing along with word art activities to inspire and encourage.

Rev up for the new school year! Spend four glorious days at DSHA in this fantastic introduction to your first year. You'll explore the school, make new friends, meet faculty and staff, learn about classes, and discover ways to make the most of your four years as a Dasher. Sample school curriculum through mini-sessions and gain skills in notetaking, writing, organization, and more. You'll also participate in a service project, daily reflection, and recreation.

DSHA Head Cross Country Coach Andy Lelinski will introduce you to distance running, as well as individual instruction in techniques and training necessary to prepare for the 2023 fall season. Workouts, guest lectures, and fun activities are all designed to instruct, entertain, and motivate. This camp acknowledges a wide variety of talent and experience and will tailor the running portion of the program to suit the individual needs of participants. Incoming freshmen— get a jump on tryouts and see what this sport is all about! Join the DSHA Varsity coaching staff, current players, and alums to learn the sport of field hockey. DSHA Head Coaches Sue Walline and Quinn Loucks will provide everything you need to know!
Shin guards and mouth guards are required. Cleats or turf shoes preferred, but sneakers are allowed. Sticks will be available to borrow; if you are planning to play this fall, it may be a good idea to purchase a stick. Equipment is available for purchase at Burghardt Sporting Goods in New Berlin and Fox Point or online at Longstreth.com and Amazon.
DSHA Director of Fitness and Performance Brian Calhoun will provide a safe and effective training program to improve overall fitness and performance and reduce injury. This camp will introduce the five basic bio-motor skills in speed, strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. This camp is for athletes and non-athletes alike.

Come learn about the exciting world of coding and robotics! The field of robotics is full of unique challenges, critical thinking, and creativity. During the week, campers will work with members of the Hilltopper Robotics FRC Team 1732, our cooperative team composed of Divine Savior Holy Angels and Marquette University High School students which has competed multiple times in the FRC World Championships. Through a variety of hands-on activities, campers will build and program a robot to perform fun and friendly challenges while learning the basics of mechanics, electronics, and coding.

This day-long experience will build a connection within the class of 2027 as well as a sense of community while inspiring students to be leaders from their first day at DSHA. Group activities focused on teamwork, critical thinking, and real-life scenarios combined with fun ice breakers will prepare freshmen to make an immediate impact at DSHA.
