Prayer & Worship

The DSHA Campus Ministry department aims to promote students’ Catholic Christian identity by supporting students through opportunities to deepen their faith and to grow as young women leaders in the Church – both as individuals and within community. Our mission is to give every student (regardless of her faith background) the opportunity to worship God, explore her faith, and come to a deeper appreciation of spirituality during her four years at DSHA. Whether through all-school Mass, participation in the Liturgical Seasons, or taking the time during a Wellness hour for quiet prayer in the Mother of Our Savior Chapel, students are encouraged to live out, explore, and grow in their faith through multiple prayer and worship avenues.

Developing an understanding and love of God is the primary focus of the preparation for and celebration of our monthly all-school Masses. Students plan and serve in ministry roles during all Masses, developing as faith-filled leaders in the Church — beyond the walls of their high school experience. Several Campus Ministry Leadership Teams are involved in the planning, preparation and celebration.
