THE MARIE ESSER HANSEN LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER

The Marie Esser Hansen Library Media Center is open for business 24/7 virtually. The databases will provide you with information you might need to complete assignments and research. If you would like to checkout library books/materials use the Follett Destiny Catalog link below.  Librarian Christina Thiele is available to assist you (via Teams, in-person or email) if you have any questions regarding the library and its resources.

MONDAY--THURSDAY:   7:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M.
FRIDAY:  7:00 A.M.-3:15 P.M.

DSHA Library In-House Collection:

  • 5,000+ books to support curricular needs as well as recreational reading
  • 450 DVDs/CDs/Playaways
  • Periodical subscriptions via the Internet
  • Six reading nooks with fiction titles
  • Internet access from 10 student desktop computers
  • 10 laptops to loan to students overnight
  • Laptop cart equipped with 32 computers
  • 2 quick look-up computer stations (printing, email and card catalog).

All computers are equipped with Microsoft Office for production of PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, or Word documents.
