Why I Give Back to DSHA - Class of 2021

Class of 2021
Divine Savior Holy Angel’s “Mosaic” program is an annual tradition in which the senior class pledges to give back to DSHA in gratitude for the past four years and to pay it forward to the next generation of Dashers.

At a special assembly led by their class spokeswomen, all seniors are asked to make a four-year Mosaic pledge. Seniors make a pledge to donate $12.50 a year for their four years in college - for a total pledge of $50. The math comes to less than 4 cents a day: 4 cents a day for DSHA!

During the assembly, the senior class spokeswomen shared why they give back through Mosaic.
Honor Callanan, DSHA '21:
I give back to DSHA because I believe in its unique ability to provide a whole-person education. The school has given me countless opportunities to form who I am as a student, leader, and most importantly, as a person. The supportive nature of this all-girls environment helped empower me to truly challenge myself and step outside my comfort zone both in and out of the classroom. I look back at my own experience at DSHA and am so grateful for all this school has done for me, so I give back to help the school continue to provide girls these kinds of opportunities to challenge themselves and grow.

Madeline Cesarz, DSHA '21:
DSHA has challenged me every single day to take full advantage of my leadership skills. From being a shy freshman to the very capable senior I am today, I am fully prepared and excited to join the greater community of women in leadership positions. Through classes that highly encourage participation and engagement as well as extracurriculars that offer countless opportunities to work closely with students of all grade levels, administrators, and local authorities, I have found not only my voice and ability to speak up, but also a love for independence and teamwork alike. I give to ensure that young girls continue to be transformed into dependable leaders in their short four years at DSHA.

Laetitia Faye, DSHA '21:
I give because DSHA has become my second home. Every day, I am challenged academically and socially to reach my full potential in the classroom and beyond. My teachers are trustworthy and approachable, contributing to the tight student-faculty bond and community-centered environment. I look forward to coming to school each day because I know I will be surrounded by compassionate, hard-working and faithful individuals determined to make a difference. The community here is truly like no other, and I want other girls to see the value in a DSHA education.

Mia Jensen, DSHA '21:
I give to DSHA because, throughout my four years, it has helped me to become the person that I am today. I've made lifelong friends, grown immensely in my faith life, and I feel more than ready to take on life in the real world - all because of the environment that DSHA creates for its students. DSHA has opened up many opportunities for growth in the most formative parts of life: faith, education, service, and personal values. Giving back to this institution will ensure that future Dashers will receive the best experience that they could have.
