In addition to celebrating Dashers' academic accomplishments this quarter, Principal Dan Quesnell also led students in a celebration of recent athletic wins at the November assembly.

Head of the Charles Rowing Regatta

Five Dashers competed at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston on October 19as members of the Milwaukee Rowing Club High School Team. The Head of the Charles is the world’s largest rowing event and has professional, collegiate, and high school divisions that attract teams from across the globe. Teams must qualify to race in this regatta, with each event being limited to 86 teams.

Katie Dean, DSHA '27, and Kate Bradford, DSHA '27, competed in the Milwaukee Rowing Club’s Women's Jr. 8+ boat. They placed 11^th out of the 86 qualifying teams. Madeline Hodges, DSHA '26, Ella Jankowski, DSHA '26, and Elizabeth Doneff, DSHA '28, competed in the Milwaukee Rowing Club’s Women's Jr. 4+ boat. They placed 22^nd out of the 86 qualifying teams.
