Kevin Roethe is in his first year as DSHA’s Athletic Director, following in the footsteps of Peggy Seegers-Braun and her remarkable 37-year long career in the role. Kevin is no stranger to DSHA or Dasher Athletics.
He is a current parent to two Dashers, Avery, DSHA ’27, and Reese, DSHA ’29. His family’s DSHA legacy also runs deep: his mother, Diane Hinnenkamp Roethe, DS ’65, and his sister, Dr. Kelly Roethe Hodges, DSHA ’96, are both alumnae. His dad, Tom Roethe, coached the freshman basketball team for 19 years. Before stepping into his new position, Kevin served as a teacher in the Science Department and as the Varsity Soccer coach for the past 19 years, leading the program to five WIAA State Championships.
