Sister Carol Thresher, SDS, DS ’59

Sister Carol Thresher, SDS, DS ’59, sees her role as serving the life and mission of the Sisters of the Divine Savior in the context of the order’s global presence. She spent 18 years in the states of Ceará and São Paulo, Brazil, working with people living in poverty; as well as developing, designing, and leading ongoing formation programs for Salvatorians across the globe in places like India, Sri Lanka, and England.
Closer to home, Sister Carol served as the provincial leader and vicaress for the North American Province of the Sisters of the Divine Savior; helped church leaders grow in their faith through her work in the Jordan Ministry Team in Tucson, AZ; and taught elementary and secondary school in Milwaukee.
Qualities of a DSHA Graduate: She is a leader, guiding countless people—from all over the world—on their faith journey.
