DSHA Once Again Named the Best Catholic High School in Wisconsin

School-ranking website Niche just released its ratings for 2026-27. DSHA was named the #1 Catholic high school in the state for the second year in a row!
DSHA is the #1 Catholic high school in the state, according to Niche, a leader in school rankings. This marks the second year DSHA has earned this distinction.
In addition to being named the best Catholic high school in Wisconsin, DSHA earned high marks across its Niche report card, including an A+ grade overall:
A+ for academics
A+ for clubs and activities
A+ for college prep
A+ for sports
A+ for resources and facilities
A for teachers
Niche also shared data on how DSHA stacks up against other schools. DSHA is in the top 1.5% of high schools nationwide and earned these other ratings:
#1 Catholic high school in Wisconsin
#1 high school for athletes in Wisconsin
#1 all-girls high school in Wisconsin
#1 Catholic high school for STEM in Wisconsin
#1 best Catholic high school teachers in Wisconsin
Top 1% of high schools nationwide for academics
Top 1% of high schools nationwide for clubs and activities
Top 1% of high schools nationwide for sports
Top 2% of high schools nationwide for college prep
Top 5% of high schools nationwide for STEM
"It is so wonderful that DSHA has been named the #1 Catholic school in Wisconsin for a second consecutive year and is recognized for being a premier institution for whole-person education," said Dean of Student Affairs Rachel Fredricks. "Students at DSHA have so many amazing opportunities to grow in faith, heart, and intellect throughout their four years, and this ranking reflects that."
Academic Dean Erin Housiaux added: "We believe that knowing our students deeply, accompanying them thoughtfully, and creating the conditions for them to grow with confidence and purpose are essential to an exceptional education."
And considering DSHA's high marks not just in academics, but in athletics and extracurriculars, Erin explained, "Academic excellence and personal formation are not competing priorities at DSHA; they are inseparable parts of our mission."
