Save the Date for the 2020 DSHA Auction: Friday, March 6, 2020!


• Purchase a Golf Outing AND Auction sponsorship of the same value and receive a 5% discount off the total price!*
• Auction Signature sponsorships ($10,000) and Stop-the-Auction sponsorships ($20,000) are not eligible for discount.
• Interested in purchasing an auction Signature or Stop-the-Auction sponsorship? You will still receive the 5% discount on any Golf Outing sponsorship when purchased with your auction sponsorship!

*5% discount will be honored for Golf hole sponsorships at $550 and Auction sponsorships at $750 packaged together even though the prices are different.

  • Attend – come for the party!

    By attending the auction – whether you bid on a yacht, or simply come for a fantastic dinner and night out with friends – you are supporting DSHA! And we are grateful for your attendance alone.

    Invitations will go out in late January/early February and RSVPs will be taken at that time. 
  • Become a table captain and bring your friends!

    Our hope is that every family in our community would get a personal invitation to the auction from someone they know. If you would like to rally the troops from your daughter's volleyball or robotics team, or gather families from your parish, this is you!

    To be a table captain, is to simply try to fill a table with 10-12 of your nearest and dearest, collect the money and turn in a complete table reservation with full payment. If you are unable to fill an entire table, we will gladly seat you with other Dasher families.

  • Volunteer – before or during the event.

    Many parents say that volunteering is the BEST way to meet fellow Dasher moms and dads. And the auction is just the place for you to do so! And, this massive event would not be possible without the help of our extraordinary volunteers! From decorating the event space to gathering donation items, we have a place for you on the team.

    DSHA will be transformed on March 6th – so much so, you'll forget you're still at school. To pull this off, we need your help! Our environment team has the vision, but we could use your hands to help execute!

DSHA Benefit Auction History

For over 30 years, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School has held a fundraising auction.  What began as a relatively small affair – fully contained in the gymnasium – has grown to an elaborate event with an extensive silent auction, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the gym, followed by a gourmet dinner and live auction in The Quad.  Attended now by over 500 guests each year, the DSHA Benefit Auction has become known as the place to be for fun and excitement each Spring, as current and past parents, alumnae and friends all gather together. 

Each year a theme is selected for the Auction, which becomes the focal point not only for the décor, but for donations, printed materials and more.  Excitement builds throughout the school year as the Auction comes to life.  Recent Auction themes have covered a wide range including Dinner at Tiffany’sSpring SignatureHigh Tide In the HamptonsCity Chic, Uncorked: An Evening in Tuscany, An Elegant Gatsby Evening, Girl PowerFULL, Expect the Unexpected, Beyond Expectations and Love, Loyalty & Friendship.

An event of this magnitude requires an army of volunteers and we are fortunate each year to have had dedicated chair people willing to commit the countless hours required to make this a success.  Under their leadership, dozens of additional volunteers are recruited and trained, underwriting funds are collected, catalog ads are solicited, auction items are donated, catalog descriptions are written, raffle tickets are sold and decorations are created, all with the singular focus of creating a memorable evening for everyone in attendance the night of the Auction. 

Truly a school-wide effort, the Auction also involves over 80 student volunteers who assist with greeting, coat check, Mass, selling raffle tickets and acting as auction runners and servers on the big night.  As the school’s largest single fundraising event, it is fitting that it includes all members of our DSHA family – staff, students, current and past parents, alumnae and friends – as we work together not only to raise funds in support of DSHA’s mission of preparing young women intellectually, spiritually and personally, but to build a community that will endure in its support of the confident, capable young women we are sending out into the world.
