Let's help Arike add another trophy to her case!

Greetings DSHA Community!

As you likely know by now, we are so excited for our very own Arike Ogunbowale, DSHA '15, and her recent success at the NCAA March Madness Tournament! Arike led Notre Dame to victory TWICE in the Final Four with her buzzer beater shots, helping the team clinch the national championship title for the first time in 17 years. She also was named tournament MVP!

Congratulations to Arike and to the Notre Dame women’s team on an incredible season! Click here for a collection of stories on her weekend that will surely go down in history as one of the best the NCAA tournament has ever seen!

To top off her historic national championship appearance, Arike was announced as the final athlete dancer on Good Morning America on April 13^th. And this Monday, she will take her athletic prowess to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom.

Who wants to help Arike win that famous Mirrorball Trophy and bring continued attention to women’s basketball?? We do! How can you help?? VOTE!

And here is how to vote:

As soon as the show starts on Monday night (7 p.m. CST), start voting for Arike and Gleb at ABC.com! You can cast your vote even before they dance! Week one eliminations will be based on live viewer votes cast during the show + the judges’ scores.
After voting closes around 9 p.m., the votes will be tallied and two couples will be eliminated. Just moments later, you can vote again to save Arike and Gleb from next week's elimination. Vote by phone, at ABC.com or Facebook. This voting period is only 24 hours and closes Tuesday night (5/1)!
