Welcome to a New School Year! This year our theme for the School Year is “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” – Romans 12:12
We are so grateful for all of the Campus Ministry leaders and families that participated in the Campus Ministry Leaders Retreat, Mass and Potluck yesterday.Parents Needed for Freshmen Service Day – Nov. 2
Volunteers are needed to help with this year’s Freshmen Service Day on Friday, November 2. This DSHA tradition introduces the Class of 2022 to volunteering through a day of prayer, service and reflection. The day starts at DSHA at 7:50 a.m. with a prayer service and instructions. Then parents, teachers, and seniors lead small groups of freshmen in service at different service agencies throughout Milwaukee. Groups meet back at DSHA with service reflections and prayer, ending at 2:00 p.m..
If you are interested in helping, please contact Stephanie Monson in Campus Ministry (firstname.lastname@example.org; 414-721-7973).

Our first optional Mass, or Worship Wednesday, will be this week during early dasher time (10:55 a.m.). Mass will be in the Mother of Our Savior chapel, and we welcome Fr. Ferdinand Lukoa, SDS as our guest presider. Our special intention is for the field hockey team!
Eucharistic Minister Training (August 30 and September 6)
Attention Senior parents: if your daughter is interested in serving as a Eucharistic minister during our DSHA liturgies, she should attend trainings held during both lunch times in the chapel on Aug. 30 or Sept. 6. If she is unable to attend either day, she can email Mrs. Lennon at email@example.com to schedule a separate time.
Worship Wednesday (September 5)
We welcome Fr. Dennis back from his time abroad with the Salvatorians for this optional liturgy. We will be praying for the golf team. Mass will begin at 10:55 a.m. in the Mother of Our Savior Chapel.
Sandwich Day (September 4)
As part of our ongoing service throughout our school year we make peanut butter sandwiches for agencies that provide food for the homeless in the Milwaukee area. We are always in need of peanut butter and jelly for this service. Please feel free to send these with items with your daughter to bring to Campus Ministry.
Collection Day (September 5)
Another component of our Salvatorian service program is our collections program. Our First Collections day is September 5! Students can bring a non-perishable food item(s) in for the food pantry at Mother of Good Counsel. This food pantry provides food for many people in the Greater Milwaukee area. When students bring a nonperishable food item, they have the privilege of being out of uniform day. These days are any school days that end in 5,( In September we have collection days on 9/5 and 9/25). Thanks in advance for your donations.
