Sister Jane Eschweiler, SDS, DS ’65
Sister Jane Eschweiler, SDS, DS ’65, saw a world that tends towards the values of greed and violence, and vowed to pray and serve the community with alternative values. Located in Tucson, AZ, she worked with the Jordan Ministry team, bringing to life the New Evangelization practices of the Second Vatican Council to church members. She led catechists in classes, retreats, and spirituality workshops to aid them in becoming better leaders. In addition, she spent time in a Tucson hospital leading Eucharistic services.
An advocate for vocations, she offers spiritual direction to deacons in formation and works with lay ministers in growing their faith. She even offers spiritual counseling to men and women in jail or prison, finding hope in God’s transforming grace.
Qualities of a DSHA Graduate: She is a believer, acting on God’s call to build His church and be a faith-filled role model to others.
