PSAT for sophomores and juniors

The PSAT test is a practice test for the SAT. The SAT, like the ACT, is a test often used for college admissions. Most DSHA students take the ACT. Few take the SAT. Nonetheless, the PSAT is good practice for both standardized tests. The National Merit Scholarship Program is awarded based on performance on the PSAT during junior year.
The PSAT for sophomores and juniors will begin prompty at 8 a.m. The test typically finishes between 11-11:30 a.m.
Freshmen and seniors do not have any classes on October 13. This is a good day for seniors to work on college applications.
