Drive Through Santa's Workshop FAQ:

List of 7 frequently asked questions.

  • Q. What are the safety precautions in place?

We are taking safety at this event very seriously. In order to keep Drive Through Santa's Workshop fun and safe, attendees will not be allowed out of their cars at the first four stations. Families will then be asked to park and invited to take a socially distant picture with Santa. One family will be allowed out of their car at a time. Masks are required by all working and attending the event but can be removed briefly for a picture with Santa.
  • Q. What crafts will we take home from Drive Through Santa's Workshop?

There will be a total of five stations located on the west side of DSHA. Each station will have an activity to take home and complete with your family. Examples include a gingerbread house kit, layered tree sign craft, Nativity scene craft, picture frame, and of course a picture with Santa!
  • Q. How will I get my family's photo with Santa?

Santa will be at the last stop of this drive-through event. One family at a time will be invited to get out of their vehicle to take their photo with Santa. This year, families will take their Santa pictures on their own devices.
  • Q. Why can only seven families come during one time slot?

In order to maintain CDC guidelines for social distancing and to keep everyone safe, we are limiting the number of attendees participating in each 30-minute time slot.
  • Q. Are there other Christmas activities we can do that weekend?

YES! Round out your DSHA Christmas weekend by grabbing "tickets" for the DSHA production of "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play". This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. Tickets for the live stream can be purchased here.
  • Q. What if I am running late?

Please arrive at DSHA as close to the top of your time slot as possible. This will allow everyone to get their perfect Christmas photo with Santa!

Due to COVID restrictions, if you are running late and arrive AFTER your 30-minute slot, you may not attend another session.
  • Q. What if I forget to pay?

You must pay within 24 hours of making your reservation. Any reservations that are not completed within 24 hours will be canceled and made available to other families.
