ACTIVITIES & ATHLETICS

organizations & clubs

Reflecting our mission to provide a well-rounded environment for our young women, clubs and other co-curricular activities are offered. These activities afford our students the opportunity to express and develop their talents and abilities while providing yet another vehicle for the enhancement of leadership and social skills. The clubs listed below meet twice a month from 7:50 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. This period is provided during the school day as not to interfere with students' after school responsibilities. Click here to download a copy of the 07-08 Clubs and Activities Guide.

Other activities

Drama
Every year DSHA produces four major dramatic events. Opportunities abound in the casts, crews and pit orchestra.

Model United Nations Conference
Students prepare for and attend the Harvard Model United Nations Conference, a four-day simulation fo what takes place at the real United Nations in New York.

Student Council
The Student Council is viewed as a liaison between the students and the faculty and administration. It provides many opportunities for leadership experiences.

Student Ambassadors
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are recommended and interested in participating in DSHA's recruitment program visit area grade schools as student recruiters, serve as guides at our annual Open House, and act as DSHA representatives to junior high students.

Student Liturgy Planning Team
Liturgies are an integral part of the DSHA experience. Students have the opportunity to participate in the development of liturgy content, music, and themes.
