Fine Arts & Academic Camp Instructors


Art:  Exploring the Landscape
Mrs. Jill Reginato Pitterle DSHA’72 has a BA in fine arts from St. Norbert College and certification in K-12 art education. She has 15 1/2 years teaching experience and has been teaching in the DSHA Visual Arts Department for 5 1/2 years.


Gotta’ Dance
Ms. Carlyn Pitterle DSHA ‘06 is finishing her sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin Madison and is majoring in dance and kinesiology. She has 12 years of dance experience, and has danced at the World Championships of Irish Dance three years in a row. She has been teaching dance in Madison for the past two years, and is thrilled to be back at DSHA.


Operation Algebra: Thinking Through Problem Solving
Mrs. Jean Schmidt Andreski DSHA’80 has a BS in biomedical engineering with a mathematics minor from Marquette University as well as certification in secondary mathematics. She has four years teaching experience and has been teaching at DSHA for four years.

Sports Camp Instructors

Basketball Camp
Mr. Scott Witt is in his fourth year as DSHA's head varsity basketball coach. Witt played basketball at Montana Tech during which time he was the All-Time Career Leading Scorer, Conference MVP, four-time All-Conference pick, three-time Academic All-American and team captain. Witt, his basketball coaching staff and players will staff this summer’s camps.


Field Hockey Camp

Mrs. Mary Ash is in her fifth year as the head field hockey coach at DSHA. Ash played field hockey at Northern Michigan University and has built the program from scratch at DSHA.  She will be assisted at this summer’s camp by her coaching staff and DSHA players. 


Rugby
Camp

Mr. John “Chin” Klein has been part of the DSHA rugby program for 11 years. As head coach, he has led the DSHA rugby team, which has not lost a game since 2003, to four consecutive national championships in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. In addition to coaching rugby, Klein is a special education teacher at a local high school. He will be assisted at this summer’s camp by his coaching staff and DSHA players. 


Soccer Camp

Mr. Kevin Roethe is in his second year as head varsity soccer coach at DSHA.  He served as the assistant coach for one year before taking over the program. He played soccer at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee where he lettered four years and helped his team to two consecutive Horizon League Conference Championships and two consecutive NCAA appearances. He is the recent recipient of the 2006-2007 NFHS Coaches Association Girls Soccer Coach of the Year Award for Wisconsin. He will be assisted at this summer’s camp by his coaching staff and DSHA players. 


Softball Camp

Mr. John Kumbier is in his fourth year of coaching varsity softball at DSHA. He has played and coached fastpitch softball for 29 years and is the manager of the North Shore Stars Travel Select 14U Fastpitch team. He will be assisted at this summer’s camp by his coaching staff and former & current outstanding DSHA players. 


Strength & Conditioning Camp

Ms. Holly Tamm is the head strength and conditioning coach for DSHA.  Tamm received her B.S. and M.S. in kinesiology from UWM with an academic emphasis on sport psychology, exercise physiology, and nutrition.  Following a three-sport high school athletic career, she earned All-Conference honors as a Division I basketball player.  She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is also a full-time Personal Trainer and works with a wide variety of clientele whose goals include athletic enhancement, weight loss, injury rehabilitation, etc.


Volleyball Camp
Mrs. Aimee Reszczynski Sullivan DSHA’91 joined the DSHA coaching staff as varsity volleyball coach in fall 2005. She played varsity volleyball at DSHA and was named All-Conference three years in a row and All-State her senior year. She was the assistant varsity volleyball coach during the 2004 season. Sullivan, her coaching staff, and former outstanding DSHA volleyball players will staff this summer’s camps.
