the college center The College Advising Program at DSHA organizes and facilitates the college application process for juniors, seniors and their parents. We provide the most current information, so that students and parents can easily navigate the sometimes stressful college application process. By following our step-by-step process, students successfully complete their applications in a timely manner and find a college that fits their individual needs.

Access to the College Library with College Catalogs, College View books and Scholarship Information
An Academic/Activity Resume Envelope to keep track of activities, honors and awards
Opportunities to meet with college representatives from all over the United States
Access to the Naviance® Family Connection® Computer Program which provides up-to-date college, scholarship, and financial aid information
For Sophomores:
College Speaker and handouts at Sophomore Success Night (January)
For Juniors:
College Financial Aid Night with MUHS (January)
College Information Night for juniors and their parents (March)
Group meetings to begin college search and application process (Spring)
For Seniors:
College Application Night for seniors and their parents (August)
College Financial Aid Night with MUHS (January)
One-on-one college advising throughout the application process (All year)
