Alumnae Association Events & Programs
Alumnae Reunion Weekend is a celebration on the first weekend in October for the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45-year alumnae and for those who have graduated 50 years ago or longer (Jubilarians). Individual classes host events at selected area clubs and restaurants and several activities are held at DSHA throughout the weekend.
The Class Rep Program helps to keep classmates in touch with each other and with the school. Class reps serve as liaisons between the school and their classmates; they correspond with these alumnae to bring in class news for publication in the Word Magazine, and help with the success of the Alumna Annual Fund and class reunions. These women are honored and updated with DSHA news each year at the annual Class Rep Gathering.
The College Ambassador Program puts recent alumnae in touch with eighth graders, our potential freshmen, by writing notes encouraging them to attend DSHA and share in their (the alumnae's) DSHA experiences.
Alumnae Sports Events offer past athletes and their families the opportunity to attend games for their specific sport(s) with other past players. In the name of cost savings, we send out postcard invitations just to those who played on past teams, but we encourage all alums to attend DSHA alumnae sports events.
Jubilee Club Mass and Brunch is held on the first Sunday in October, in conjunction with Reunion Weekend, for alumnae who have graduated 50 years ago or longer. Mass is held in the Robert and Marie Hansen Family Fine Arts Theatre with a complimentary champagne reception and brunch following in The Quad.
A Night on the Riveria is a benefit evening of casino-style gambling and elegant fare for alumnae, families and friends of HA, DS, and DSHA. Guests can take their chances at games such as Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and Let it Ride while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and taking their chances on raffle opportunities. Alumnae may also serve as “Pit Boss” hostesses. All proceeds from this event benefit the Service Scholarship sponsored by the DSHA Alumnae Association.

The Service Scholarship recognizes the tradition of community service, which is a cornerstone of DSHA. A $1500 scholarship is awarded in Spring to a sophomore and junior for the following school year. The sophomore recipient is eligible to reapply in her junior year if she meets the requirements.
Yearbook Signing Party for recent graduates occurs each August before these new alumnae head off to college.
The Word Magazine is a publication for and about the alumnae, students, parents, faculty, administrators, and friends of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School. It is published three times a year in autumn, winter and spring. Alumnae submit information via the website, fax 414-466-4778, or mail.
Alumnae Recognition
Alumna of the Year is awarded each year to an alumna who is an inspiration to women. She must be at least a ten-year alumna; reflect Christian values and strength of character; show progress toward desirable goals; have contributed to the alleviation of human problems; exhibit leadership; and be loyal to DSHA's mission. Nominations are solicited in spring.
Jubilarian of the Year is awarded to an alumna who has graduated at least 50 years prior to nomination. She is selected each year because she is an inspiration to women. She must reflect Christian values and strength of character; show progress toward desirable goals; have contributed to the alleviation of human problems; exhibit leadership; and be loyal to DSHA's mission. The Jubiliarian of the Year is honored at the Jubilee Club Mass and Brunch.
Mother Daughter Medalists are those seniors who, upon graduation, receive with their mothers, grandmothers and/or great grandmothers a medal designating them as second, third, or fourth generation alumnae of DSHA. The mother or grandmother must be a graduate of Holy Angels Academy, Divine Savior High School or DSHA. These women are honored each year at Baccalaureate Mass prior to commencement.
