School and Community
Divine Savior Holy Angels High School is sponsored by the Sisters of the Divine Savior. Divine Savior High School was established in 1948. Holy Angels Academy, established in 1892 by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, affiliated with Divine Savior in 1970. Combined, they have a long and successful history of educating young women as attested to by an alumnae association of over 13,000 women.

Located on a twenty-acre campus in a residential area of the northwest side of Milwaukee, Divine Savior Holy Angels draws students from the metropolitan Milwaukee area and surrounding counties. Its student body represents a wide variety of economic and ethnic backgrounds.

Advanced Placement Facts
Ninety percent of students who took AP exams received scores of 3, 4 or 5. One-hundred sixty students took 229 exams in ten different subjects. Forty-five percent of last year’s senior class, forty-four percent of last year’s junior class and thirteen percent of last year's sophomore class took an AP exam.

Course Materials
Sixty-nine percent of our junior and senior-level courses use textbooks traditionally used at the college level.

Class Rank
Class rank is computed using semester grades beginning with ninth grade. One credit is awarded for successful completion of a course which meets five days a week for the entire school year, and one-half credit is awarded for courses which meet five days a week for one semester. A semester consists of nineteen weeks. Classes are 50 minutes in length within a seven period day.
