DSHA to hold Open House for prospective students
Parents and students can enjoy Mass, followed by guided facility tours
Milwaukee – Divine Savior Holy Angels High School (DSHA), 4257 North 100th Street, will hold an Open House for interested young women in grades 5 through 8 and their parents, on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005. Mass will be held in the Robert and Marie Hansen Family Fine Arts Theatre from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by guided tours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Current DSHA students, parents and alumnae will conduct tours of the school, including its state-of-the-art science and fine arts facilities. This event not only provides prospective students and their families with an opportunity to learn more about DSHA’s college-preparatory curriculum and the benefits of a single-gender environment, but also a chance to meet school teachers and administrators. Parents and their daughters who are interested in transferring to DSHA are also encouraged to visit at this time. Divine Savior Holy Angels High School is a Catholic college preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Sisters of the Divine Savior. DivineSaviorHigh School was established in 1948. Holy Angels Academy, established in 1892 by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, affiliated with Divine Savior in 1970. Combined, they have a long and successful history of educating young women as attested to by an alumnae association of over 12,500 members. Enrollment for the 2005-2006 school year is 655 students in grades nine through 12.
