DSHA Potts honored with tennis award

Milwaukee, WI – Divine Savior Holy Angels High School (DSHA) is proud to announce that Katie Potts, a senior from Brookfield, received the 2004 WTA Frank Parker Junior Award for her accomplishments in tennis. The Frank Parker Award is “given to the Wisconsin male and female junior tennis players who exemplify tennis excellence and sportsmanship both on and off the court.” Katie has won the last two WIAA high school singles titles and helped DSHA win two Division I Team State Championships. She has been nationally ranked since age thirteen and is a two-time high school All-American.

In addition to leading the DSHA tennis team, Katie also competes on the basketball and soccer team and is a four-year student council class representative. She is a Scholar Athlete, having maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and will attend the University of Notre Dame with a tennis scholarship.
