DSHA benefit concert raises money for Sudan
Milwaukee –Members of the Divine Savior Holy Angels High School (DSHA) Amnesty International Club held a benefit concert, Jamnesty, to aid Sudanese refugees. The event raised $2500 and took place at DSHA on February 25. Tickets were sold for $5 and additional money was raised by selling t-shirts, soda and baked items. Those who came to the event were entertained by the music of five bands. Molly Boynton, vice president of Amnesty International and a junior from Fox Point, comments “I wasn’t expecting the outcome that we got. I was impressed with all of the people who helped out and came to the event.”
