DSHA student named Dancer of the Year

Milwaukee, WI –Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA) student Elizabeth Beres of Brookfield received the 2004 Dancer of the Year award by Dance Olympus/Dance America. She performed her modern solo, “Candlelight,” at the competition, which took place this summer in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Elizabeth, a junior, has been dancing since she was three years old. For the past eight years she has been a member of Accent on Dance, which is an auditioned dance group that participates in regional and national competitions. She is an Angelaire, a junior homeroom representative for Student Council and she is portraying Little Red Riding Hood in the fall musical, Into the Woods.
