DSHA student receives national recognition

Milwaukee, WICenia Rodriguez of Milwaukee, a senior at Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA), was recognized by the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program. This program provides national recognition of the academic achievements of Hispanic high school seniors and identifies them for post secondary institutions.

Students must take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test as high school juniors and identify themselves as Hispanic. From more than 124,000 students nationwide, 4,300 are initially identified. Based on further academic evidence, a final group of 3,300 students are recognized by the program as a Scholar or Honorable Mention Finalist.

The College Board was founded in 1900 and is a nonprofit membership of schools, colleges, and other educational organizations.
